The FramaDVD is easy to use for newbies, containing many features :

Specto is a little tool having many features. It alerts user when files, folders, web site, pop account ,facebook account … are updated. For example you can configure Specto to alert you when a shared network folder is updated, a pop up integrated in Gnome will be displayed when the event occurs.

Specto is a python tool, well integrated in Gnome desktop and respects the FreeDesktop specifications.

Guake is a drop-down terminal for Gnome environment. It allows to get a terminal by pressing F12 key, it’s a Yakuake fork.

Guake is very customizable,  we can choose the terminal position (top or bottom ) , size , transparency. All options are available in Guake preferences.

pstree merges identical branches by putting them in square brackets and prefixing them with the repetition count, for example in the picture apache2 has 5 children process.

Child threads of a process are found under the parent process and are shown with the process name in curly braces, for example, in the picture console-kit-dae has 63 threads.

If you want to convert a range of pages, you could use -f and -l options. With -f option you specify the first page and with -l option you specify the last page. Here’s an example :
